What is Kriya Yoga?
Kriya Yoga is a breathing exercise about aligning yourself with your Heavenly Breath. We are living in the breath of God but we live in ignorance of this essential information. Mahavatar Babaji brought this divine teaching of Kriya Yoga to mankind.
We have an external breath that is a worldly breath of excitement and fear and these excitements are controlling your life, as you are feeling you are breathing. Kriya Yoga takes you inside yourself into the Divine Breath. Inside you is the breath of peace, the Breath of the Supreme Soul.
When we go inside and breathe with that breath we go into meditation. Having gone inside in the breath we come out of the world of excitement and duality and go inside into union and peace.
When we sit and do our Kriya breaths we then go into meditation, we go inside and feel calmness, oneness, love, harmony and beauty. The heart, the mind, the soul and the body become united in this breath. As our hearts become calm so our minds become calm.
In the world people are stressed and busy rushing, with the beautiful practice of Kriya Yoga breathing and meditation we change ourselves from the outer destructive thoughts to inner peace and these changes sustain, heal, and support us in our lives.
